Patch Notes – Update 1.0.17

13.09.2026
Patch Notes – Update 1.0.17

This update focuses on events and fair play. A new Flash Auction system with prices that decrease over time has been added to the Item Shop, new events featuring double Metin Stone spawns and server-wide bonuses have joined the Event Calendar, and bot verification has been introduced for Fishing and Auto Hunt.

Classic Interface users will also find many more screens restored to the familiar classic style, while map transitions are now noticeably faster.

New Features
Flash Auction in the Item Shop

A new sales mode where prices decrease over time.
  • Items start at a higher price and gradually become cheaper at set intervals until reaching their minimum price.
  • Stock is limited and purchases are first come, first served — you'll have to decide whether to wait for a better price or buy before the stock runs out.
  • The window displays the item's current price, minimum price, remaining time, remaining stock, and the countdown until the next price drop in real time.
  • When an item's time expires or its stock runs out, the next auction begins immediately. Upcoming items can be viewed in the Coming Soon list.
  • Purchases are made using Dragon Coins.

New Events
Double Metin Stones
  • During the event, the number of Metin Stones spawning on maps is doubled.
  • For example, an area that normally contains 5 Metin Stones will contain 10 during the event.
  • When the event ends, the additional Metin Stones do not suddenly disappear. As they are destroyed, the total gradually returns to normal.
  • The event appears as Double Metin Stones in the Event Calendar.
Bonus Events
  • Timed events can now grant bonuses directly to all players — for example, +20% Strong Against Animals for 4 hours.
  • Event bonuses are added on top of your existing bonuses and are automatically removed when the event ends.
  • Active event bonuses appear on the buff bar with a golden star icon.
  • Hovering over the icon displays the active bonus, its value, and the remaining duration.
  • Event bonuses are also displayed in the Event Calendar.

Bot Verification for Fishing & Auto Hunt

To help prevent bots from disrupting the game and its economy, a small verification window may occasionally appear.

Simply select the correct image containing the code shown in the question from a selection of six images.
While Fishing
  • After a successful verification, you will not be asked again for 5–15 minutes.
  • If you answer incorrectly or fail to respond in time, fishing will be temporarily restricted.
  • The waiting period increases with repeated failed attempts.
  • Accounts that repeatedly fail or ignore verification may be identified as bots and restricted from accessing the game.
During Auto Hunt
  • After successful verification, you will not be asked again for 15–30 minutes.
  • If you do not complete the verification, Auto Hunt will continue working and you will continue earning experience, but Yang and item drops will be disabled until verification is completed.
  • If you disable Auto Hunt and continue hunting manually, drops return to normal and no action is taken against your account.

5-Bonus Equipment Highlighting
  • When all five bonus slots on a weapon or armor are filled, the item's name is displayed in purple in its tooltip.
  • Items with fewer than five bonuses continue to use the standard golden name color.
  • This makes fully bonused equipment much easier to identify at a glance.

New Classic Interface Screens

Players using the Classic Interface now have access to several additional screens redesigned in the familiar classic style.

The Modern Interface remains unchanged.
  • Login Screen — Server and channel selection is displayed in the center, including the current status of each channel: Low / Medium / Full. After selecting a server and channel, the username/password form and saved account slots appear in the bottom-right. Website, Facebook, Discord, YouTube, Register, Settings, Exit, and language controls are available in the bottom-left, with a large Triarch Online logo at the top.
  • Character Selection — Character list and country flag selection on the left, with class information and HP / INT / STR / DEX bars on the right.
  • Death Window and Connection Information Window.
  • Item Shop — DC and Locked DC balance display, currency selection, search, expandable categories, and redesigned product cards.
  • Friends — Character information, friend search, classic group lists, and Add / Message / Delete / Block / Guild controls.
  • My Offline Shop — Shop items, pages, shop storage, sales history, remaining duration, and Yang withdrawal.
  • Open Shop — Shop name, I / II / III page selection, and classic 6x6 item slots.
  • Shop Item Price Window — Market limits, price input, expected earnings, item preview, and a functional X button in the title bar.
  • Bulk Status Distribution — Holding Ctrl while clicking a stat + button opens a window where you can enter the number of points to distribute.

Changes
Faster Map Transitions
  • Map transition times have been significantly reduced.
  • Instead of loading the entire destination map before allowing you to enter, the game now prioritizes loading your immediate area first.
  • Distant areas continue loading in the background while you play.
  • The fade animation and several unnecessary waiting steps during map transitions have also been removed.

Login Screen
  • The number of saved accounts has been increased from 4 to 10.
  • You can save up to ten different accounts and log into them with a single click or by using F1–F10.

Auto Hunt
  • Auto Hunt can no longer be used in Devil's Tower.
  • Auto Hunt cannot be activated on the regular map or inside the dungeon areas.
  • If you enter Devil's Tower while Auto Hunt is active, it will automatically be disabled upon entry.

Fishing
  • The Fishing Rod level requirement has been increased from Level 35 to Level 40.

Map Entry Levels
  • Doyyumhwan entry requirement has been updated to Level 40.
  • Ghost Forest entry requirement has been updated to Level 45.
  • Red Forest entry requirement has been updated to Level 50.

Guilds
  • The waiting period after leaving a Guild has been removed.
  • After leaving a Guild or after your Guild is disbanded, you can immediately join another Guild or create a new one.
  • No additional waiting period is required.

Marriage Ring
  • Teleporting to your spouse using the Marriage Ring now respects map level restrictions.
  • If your spouse is located on a map your character is not eligible to enter, the teleport will not occur.
  • If the teleport fails, the cooldown does not begin and no SP is consumed.

Launcher
  • If Microsoft Edge WebView2, which is required for the Launcher interface, is not installed on your computer, the Launcher will no longer install it silently in the background.
  • Instead, you will be informed and Microsoft's official download page will be opened, leaving the installation decision to you.
  • Game updates can still be downloaded and the game can still be launched without WebView2.
  • WebView2 is already included by default on Windows 11 and most up-to-date Windows 10 systems.

Fixes
Party
Level-Up Party Issue
  • Fixed an issue where players could be removed from their party after leveling up.
  • The 30-level difference restriction was correctly checked against the party leader when joining, but the level-up check incorrectly compared every party member against each other.
  • This could cause completely valid party setups to remove a member immediately after they leveled up, and could even disband a two-player party.
  • Both checks now correctly use the party leader's level.
  • A party setup that was valid when the player joined will no longer incorrectly remove members after leveling.
  • The existing party invitation level restriction remains unchanged.

Text & Fonts
Improved In-Game Text Rendering
  • Character names, interface text, and titles are now displayed more clearly.
  • Previously, some text could appear blurry or broken, with character edges overlapping and bold titles appearing as if they were printed twice.
  • Text is now rendered at the correct size with sharper edges and proper spacing.
  • Bold text now uses the proper bold font.
Chat Text
  • Chat messages no longer appear unnecessarily thick or crowded.
  • Previously, every chat line was rendered with an outline, causing letters to appear heavier and overlap.
  • Chat text is now cleaner and easier to read.

Combat & Visuals
Damage Numbers
  • Fixed damage numbers appearing with a delay during crowded battles.
  • Damage numbers could previously queue up and appear after the actual hit.
  • They now appear immediately when the hit occurs.
Armor Visuals
  • Fixed missing character body parts while wearing certain armors.
  • When Lethal Plate Armor was equipped at lower upgrade levels (+0 to +4), the Warrior's legs could disappear and leave a visible gap around the waist.
  • One female Shaman armor could also hide the entire dress model at lower upgrade levels.
  • Both issues have been fixed, and the affected armors now display correctly at every upgrade level.

Thank you for all your reports and feedback.

We will continue improving Triarch Online with new events, fair-play systems, interface improvements, and a faster and more stable gameplay experience.

Keep the feedback coming!

Patch Notes – Update 1.0.16

08.09.2026
Patch Notes – Update 1.0.16

This update focuses on competition and progression. The best players on the server can now compete across 11 different ranking categories, experience progression after level 31 has been made noticeably smoother, and certain armors now visually evolve as you upgrade them.

Chat, the Skill Window, Classic Interface, and several other systems have also received new features and improvements.

New Features
Global Ranking Window

A new Global Ranking window can now be opened using the trophy button in the bottom-left corner of the minimap.

Players are ranked across 11 different categories:
  • Player Level
  • Playtime
  • Metin Stones Destroyed
  • Highest Metin Damage
  • Bosses Defeated
  • Monsters Defeated
  • Chests Opened
  • Quest Books Completed
  • Successful Fishing
  • Successful Item Upgrades
  • Failed Item Upgrades

Each ranking category includes:
  • Level filters: Overall / 1–45 / 46–74 / 75–99
  • Class filters
  • Medals for the Top 3 players
  • Each player's kingdom flag
  • Your own rank and score displayed separately below the ranking, even if you are outside the Top 10

Clicking a player's name directly opens a Whisper window.

Level Requirements for Certain Areas

Selected maps now have minimum level requirements, with some areas also having a maximum level requirement.
  • If your level does not meet the requirements, you will not be teleported and a message will tell you the required level.
  • When using a Teleporter or Memory Scroll, the level requirement is checked before any Yang is charged.
  • If you log out while inside an area you are no longer eligible to enter, your character will start in your empire's village the next time you log in.

Armors Now Visually Evolve as You Upgrade Them

Certain armors now have a more progressive visual appearance.

At lower upgrade levels they appear simpler, while upgrading them to +4, +5, +6 and beyond gradually unlocks additional visual elements such as shoulder pieces, decorations, and capes. At higher upgrade levels, the armor reaches its complete appearance.
  • This system applies to body armors across all six character variations, including Warrior, Sura, Ninja, and Shaman for both male and female characters.

Chat Language Filters

Country flags have been added to the top bar of the chat window opened with Enter.
  • Left-clicking a flag hides Shout and Trade messages sent in that language.
  • Clicking the flag again enables those messages.
  • Right-clicking a flag leaves only that language enabled.
  • Right-clicking it again restores all languages.
  • Your language filter preferences are saved even after closing the game.

Skill Window Improvements
Numerical Cooldown Display

Remaining cooldown time is now displayed directly in the center of a skill or item slot.
  • The remaining time is displayed in seconds.
  • The number disappears automatically when the cooldown ends.
  • This works on both the Quickslot Bar and Skill Window.
Skill Book Progress

When hovering over a skill at the Master (M) stage, its tooltip now displays how many Skill Books you have successfully read toward the next level and how many are required.

For example:

Books: 1 / 3

Required Gaya (Florin) in the Wiki

When an item upgrade requires Gaya (Florin), the Wiki now displays a Required Gaya row underneath the required materials.
  • The required amount is shown separately for each upgrade level.
  • Items that do not require Gaya continue to use the existing layout.

Mount & Dismount Using Horse Tickets

Horse tickets can now be used to mount and dismount directly.
  • If your horse is standing next to you, using the ticket will mount your horse.
  • Using the ticket while already mounted will dismount you.
  • Neither action consumes mana.
  • Ctrl+H to mount and Ctrl+B to send your horse away continue to work as before.

New Classic Interface Shortcuts
Shop Search Shortcut

Pressing J now opens or closes the Shop Search window.
  • If Shop Search is unavailable on your current map, a warning window will be displayed.
  • Ctrl+J continues to mount your horse as before.
Pause Chat

A new Pause Chat button has been added to the chat window next to Auto Shout, represented by an "S" icon.
  • While enabled, new messages stop appearing in the chat window, allowing you to read existing messages without them moving.
  • Pressing the button again resumes the chat.
  • Holding Shift while typing continues to provide the same functionality as before.

Changes
Experience Progression
  • Experience gains from level 31 onward have been increased.
  • Experience reduction still gradually applies as your level increases, but the progression curve is now considerably smoother.
  • Players between levels 31–49 receive approximately 13–21% more experience.
  • Players between levels 50–75 receive approximately 45–155% more experience.
  • Players at level 76 and above receive approximately 35–40% more experience.

Sudden progression drops around level transitions such as 49 → 50 and 70 → 71 have also been reduced.

The goal of these changes is to keep progression through the mid and higher levels rewarding without reaching an unnecessary slowdown.

Metin Stones
  • Metin Stones that spawn in unreachable locations will no longer remain stuck there indefinitely.
  • If a Metin Stone spawns inside a fenced area or another inaccessible location and remains untouched for an extended period, the game will attempt to move it to a nearby valid location.
  • If no suitable location can be found, the Metin Stone is removed and respawned elsewhere.

Previously, an inaccessible Metin Stone could remain there until the next server restart and continue blocking its spawn point.

Quests & NPCs
Celadon Porcelain Quest

The Celadon Porcelain quest now clearly displays the quantity of missing materials.

Previously, the quest explained which materials were required but did not show how many were needed.

Pressing the quest button now displays your current and required amount for each missing material.

For example:

Crystal Ore: 12 / 50
Stableman
  • The Crafting (Cube) option has been removed from the Stableman.
  • All horse-related options, including feeding, mounting, naming, and promotion, remain unchanged.

Items
Sugar – Horse Name Duration

The Sugar item used to change your horse's name now clearly states that the selected name remains active for 30 days.

This information has been added across all 16 supported languages.

Classic Interface

The Modern Interface remains unchanged.
  • The remaining information and warning windows now use the Classic frame and Classic OK button.
  • This includes Shop Search restrictions, Dragon Stone warnings, Guild warnings, Inventory warnings, and similar system messages.

Fixes
Shop Search
Enchanted Only
  • Fixed an issue where "Enchanted Only" searches could still return items without bonuses.
  • The option was not being included correctly after the new Shop Search filters were introduced.
  • When enabled, results now contain only items with at least one bonus.
  • Enchanted Only can also be used by itself without entering an item name.
Class Filter
  • Fixed the Class selection list appearing underneath the Shop Search window.
  • Previously, the list could extend outside the window and appear behind the Search/Clear buttons, making some classes impossible to select.
  • The list now opens upward and remains fully inside the window.

Skills
  • Fixed old cooldown information remaining in the Skill Window after teleporting.
  • Skill cooldowns reset during teleportation, but the Skill Window could restore outdated values afterward.
  • Cooldown indicators now clear correctly.

Stability
Metin Stone Crash
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the game to close immediately after destroying a Metin Stone.
  • A protection check triggered when the stone was destroyed could generate an error and terminate the client without warning.
  • The problematic check has been temporarily disabled, preventing Metin Stone kills from closing the game.
Guild Bank
  • Fixed a server crash related to the Guild Bank.
  • Depositing or withdrawing Yang could cause the server to crash while synchronizing the updated balance with online guild members if a recently disconnected player was still present in the member list.

Items & Upgrading
Devil's Tower Blacksmith
  • Fixed an issue where having insufficient Yang at the Devil's Tower Blacksmith could consume your free upgrade attempt.
  • Previously, an unsuccessful attempt caused by insufficient Yang could still be counted as your available upgrade.
  • The free upgrade opportunity is now consumed only when an actual upgrade attempt is performed.
Items Destroyed When Unequipped
  • Fixed an issue that allowed items designed to be destroyed when unequipped to be preserved by equipping another item over them.
  • Items such as the Thief's Glove could previously return safely to the inventory if another item was equipped directly into the same slot.
  • This replacement is no longer allowed. The equipped item must first be intentionally removed using the normal unequip process.

Marriage Ring
  • Fixed the 30-second Marriage Ring cooldown not working correctly.
  • Previously, the teleport itself cleared the cooldown state, allowing the ring to be used repeatedly without waiting.
  • The 30-second cooldown now works as intended.
  • Logging out, logging back in, or switching channels does not reset it.
  • If the teleport does not happen — for example, because your spouse is offline or located in a restricted area — the cooldown does not begin.

Character & Horse
Ranking Points
  • Fixed negative Ranking Points appearing as 0 in the Character Window.
  • Characters with negative ranks now display their actual Ranking Point value, such as -12,500.
  • Number formatting for negative values has also been corrected.
Horse Names
  • Fixed an issue where a horse could occasionally receive a number such as "71110" as its name.
  • When changing the horse's name through the NPC menu, the Sugar item's internal item ID could mistakenly be used instead of the name entered by the player.
  • Horse names are now applied correctly regardless of which method is used.

Thank you for all your reports and feedback.

We will continue improving Triarch Online's progression, competition, interface, stability, and overall gameplay experience.

Keep the feedback coming!

Patch Notes – Update 1.0.15

04.09.2026
Patch Notes – Update 1.0.15

This update puts the focus on hunting and finding what you need. You can now see a monster's possible drops directly from the target bar, Shop Search has received powerful new filters and item highlighting, and your party members are now visible on the map.

The in-game Wiki is also now available to everyone, with its content rebuilt around actual game data.

New Features
Monster Drops in the Target Bar

When you target a monster, the "?" button on the target bar is now available to everyone. Clicking it opens a list of items that the monster can drop.
  • The list is filtered according to your character's level, so items that cannot possibly drop for your current level are not shown.
  • Monsters with large drop lists are automatically split into pages. A maximum of 6 rows is displayed per page, with < 1 / 3 > controls available for navigation.
  • Different upgrade levels of the same weapon or armor, such as +0 / +1 / +2, are grouped into a single slot and cycle automatically. Different Metin Stone variants are handled the same way.
  • Hovering over a cycling slot displays the information for the item currently shown.

Advanced Shop Search Filters & Highlighting

Finding the exact item you need no longer means checking every item in a crowded shop one by one.

Shop Search now supports filtering by:
  • Item name
  • Level range
  • Upgrade (+) range
  • Quantity range
  • Class

You can also search without entering an item name and use filters alone. For example, you can search specifically for Shaman equipment between +7 and +9.

When you open a shop marked by your search:
  • Items matching your search are highlighted with a green border.
  • If several copies of the same item are available, only the ones that actually match your selected filters are highlighted.
  • Shops containing matching items continue to be marked on the map as before.
  • If no matching results are found, you will receive a notification in chat.

Party Members on the Map

Party members who are on the same channel and map as you are now displayed on both the large map opened with M and the minimap.
  • Party members are displayed using a dedicated party-colored marker.
  • The marker moves in real time as your party member moves.
  • Hovering over the marker displays the player's name and coordinates.

New "Skill Duration" Item Bonus

A new Skill Duration bonus has been introduced for items.
  • Equipping an item with this bonus extends the duration of timed skills, such as shields, buffs, curses, and similar effects.
  • The skill duration is increased by the number of seconds specified by the bonus.
  • The bonus is also displayed in the item's tooltip.

In-Game Wiki Now Available to Everyone

The in-game Wiki is now available to all players.
  • Press H to open the Wiki.
  • Ctrl+H continues to mount your horse as before.
  • A new Wiki button has also been added to the ESC menu between Item Shop and Shop Editor.
New Wiki Home Page

The Wiki's home page has been completely redesigned.
  • Outdated shortcuts for systems no longer available in the game have been removed.
  • The new page explains what can be found in each category.
  • Search tips and basic Wiki controls have been added.
  • The old light-colored strip at the top has been replaced with a new header matching the Wiki's visual style, featuring a book emblem in the center.

Changes
Wiki Content Rebuilt From Game Data

Wiki lists are no longer maintained manually. They are now generated directly from the game's own monster, Metin Stone, and chest data.

This ensures that entries shown in the Wiki correspond to content that actually exists in the game.
Bosses
  • The Wiki now lists 108 bosses that actually exist in the game.
  • Bosses are divided into level categories: 1–60 / 61–85 / 86–99 / 100+.
  • The unused Chaos Bosses category has been removed.
  • 32 bosses that existed in the game world but were missing from the Wiki have been added, including Cung-Mok, Lykos, Bera, Tigris, Desert Tarantula, Hellish Soul Reaper, Flaming Executioner, Yellow Tiger Ghost, and many more.
Metin Stones
  • The Wiki now lists 69 Metin Stones that actually exist in the game.
  • Entries are organized by level range.
  • Invalid and unused records have been removed.
Chests
  • The Wiki now lists 85 chests that actually exist in the game.
  • Chests are organized into Boss Chests, Alternative Chests, and Event Chests.
  • The unused Item Shop Packages category has been removed.
Origin Information

Boss and Metin Stone cards can now display their known spawn location.
  • Spawn information is currently available for 34 bosses and 29 Metin Stones.
  • Monsters without a fixed spawn location will simply leave this field empty.

Large Map
  • The large map opened with M now remembers where you positioned it.
  • Moving the map window no longer causes it to return to the center of the screen every time it is reopened.
  • If you have never moved it, the map continues to open in the center by default.
  • If your resolution or map window size changes, the game automatically keeps the window within the visible screen area.

Fishing Rod
  • The character level required to equip a Fishing Rod has been increased from 30 to 35.

Classic Interface

The Modern Interface remains unchanged.
  • Shop Search now uses the classic frame, classic input fields, and classic buttons.
  • All new Shop Search filters — level, upgrade level, quantity, and class — remain fully available in Classic mode.
  • The Large Map (M) now uses the classic frame and classic title bar.

Fixes
Connection
Channel 1 Login & Map Transitions
  • Fixed an issue causing players to get stuck while entering Channel 1 or moving between maps.
  • During busy periods, Channel 1 could not process incoming connections quickly enough.
  • Logging in, selecting a character, or entering maps on Channel 1 could take several seconds or fail to complete.
  • Connection handling has been improved to resolve these delays.

Skills
Perfect Master Display
  • Perfect Master skills now display "P" instead of "P1".
  • Once a skill reached its final stage, the interface could incorrectly display an additional level number.
  • The tooltip could also show a "Next Level" section and requirements even though no further level existed.
  • Perfect Master skills now display only their current effects at the final stage.
Perfect Master Cooldowns
  • Cooldowns and active effect indicators for P-level skills are now displayed correctly.
  • Previously, using these skills could fail to show the cooldown animation over the skill icon.

Languages
Romanian
  • Fixed corrupted characters in hundreds of Romanian item names and descriptions.
  • Text that previously contained broken characters is now displayed correctly.
  • Several spelling issues in interface texts, including some color names, have also been corrected.
Spanish
  • Fixed corrupted accented characters on the Spanish Wiki information page.
Dutch, Russian & French
  • Fixed Wiki category names appearing in Turkish when using the Dutch or Russian clients.
  • Missing translations have been added.
  • An incorrect name for the Crafting category in French has also been corrected.

Thank you for all your reports and feedback.

We will continue improving Triarch Online's hunting experience, market tools, interface, and overall stability.

Keep the feedback coming!
